JOIN JEC ASIA STARTUP BOOSTER 2019

A unique competition tailored to find and assess innovations in the world of composites.

Open to entrepreneurs, SMEs, startups and academic spinoffs building innovative composites projects.

Startup Booster competition categories include:

1. Process :
– Design
– Manufacturing
– Digitalization / Industry 4.0 / Smart Industry
– Sustainability & Recycling

2. Materials & Products:
– New composites materials including hybrid materials, bio-sourcing and intelligent composites
– New applications and markets for composites (Composites in new mobility applications i.e Fuel Cell Tanks, etc.)
– Intelligent surfaces & displays

SELECTION PROCESS: Up to 10 finalists will be selected to pitch in front of a jury of experts and leading industry players at JEC Asia 2019.

The 10 finalists will also benefit from:
– Registrations to JEC Asia 2019
– A presence on the show floor
– A large communication plan: JEC Group Media + 5,700 targeted journalists + 1,500 international trade magazines
– Personal coaching for your executive pitch before the show
– Direct access to the jury members

3 winners (Gold, Silver & Bronze) will be announced at the show after the pitch session and will get the following advantages:

– GOLD: Full Access to JEC World 2020 with travel (up to 2,000€) & accommodation (3 nights) + fast-track as finalist of JEC World’s 2020 Startup Booster + booth in Startup Village at JEC World 2020
– SILVER: Full Access to JEC World 2020 with accommodation (3 nights) covered + booth in Startup Village at JEC World 2020
– BRONZE: Free Pass to JEC World 2020 + booth in Startup Village at JEC World 2020

Selection will be done by JEC Group in cooperation with its partners.

The startups that are not selected will all be invited to JEC Asia 2019

KEY DATES:

-> SEPT 30th – Application deadline
-> TBC / SEPT – Announcement of the Jury
-> TBC / OCT – Announcement of the 10 selected finalists
-> NOV 13-15th – Announcement of the 3 winners during the event
