Shifting 8,340 km away to the other side of the world, Israel has been ranked number five overall on this year’s Bloomberg Innovation Index, an annual ranking of countries that measures performance in research and development, tech education, patents, and other marks of technology prowess.

Anemone Ventures, founded in 2009 by Ms. Revital Shpangental Golan from Israel, is connecting these two dynamic economies by helping technology SMEs and Startups from around the world to enter Taiwan, South Korea and China.
Golan has been in Taiwan since 2002. She originally was stationed to Taiwan by her then employer, Berlitz International, to oversee Korea, Taiwan and HK.
Golan says that Taiwan offers a cost effective entry for an entrepreneur who wishes to establish operations in Asia, with its proximity to other major cities in Asia, cost effective operational costs, and skillful and trustworthy employees who speak Chinese. Taiwan is an excellent location to launch products and services for companies that plan to enter China. It offers a good and controllable environment where one can learn and make adjustments before entering China while enjoying the great living conditions Taiwan has to offer.
