HOW TO STAY IN TAIWAN
Visa Exemption or Visitor Visa : Online or in-person. Submit a regular visitor visa application. Depending on nationalities, 14 to 90 days upon arrival. (*Please refer to the official BOCA Taiwan website for more information)
Employment-Seeking Visa : Online or in-person. Submit a visitor visa application and include the relevant documents from BOCA, including your for seeking employment. Multiple-entry visa valid for 3 months to 6 months. (*Please refer to the official BOCA Taiwan website for more information)
Work Permit Application : Online or in-person. Foreign Teachers, Short-term Tutorial School Teachers, Experimental Education Staff, Freelance Artistic Workers, and Graduates of the World’s Top 500 Universities all have specialized programs. Taiwan Employment Gold Card : A 4-in-1 card that includes a resident visa, work permit, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and re-entry permit, which allows you to leave and re-enter Taiwan multiple times over the course of 1-3 years. Applicants can apply online without sponsorship. (*Please refer to the official Taiwan Employment Gold Card website for more information)
APRC :  A foreigner who has legally resided in Taiwan for 3-5 years, for more than 183 days each year is eligible to apply for an Alien Permanent Resident Certificate.
