Travel tech startup Klook has announced its plan to further invest in Taiwan. The first effort will be to recruit two hundred employees for business development, marketing, HR, finance, and product teams this year and build the biggest online customer service center in the Greater China region here.
After completing round D+ financing in April , this Hong Kong-based travel services platform has been expanding into Western markets and strengthening its position in Asian markets, including Japan and Taiwan.
Sam Lin, Klook’s head of marketing in Taiwan, said that Taiwan’s advantage lies in its geographical location in the Asia-Pacific, rapid growth in travel industry, and talent with great cross-cultural communication skills.
Setting up one of the most important online customer service center in Taiwan, Klook believes, will enable its customers to enjoy the best possible services and pave local employees’ way to the international stage.
