Startup Terrace Global Hack 2020

Startup Terrace Global Hack 2020 is a partnership between MassChallenge Israel, Taiwan Startup Terrace and Taiwan’s Digital Transformation Association to identify, nurture, accelerate and support international, technology-driven startups both in Taiwan and abroad. The project is funded by Taiwan’s Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan.

It is one of Taiwan’s truly international startup events. Our Steering Committee includes members from Israel, the United Kingdom, and the United States, meaning our program adheres to international standards and protocols. The official language of the program is English

Our mentors and coaches have extensive international, real-world working experience and connections.

Our teams will have the opportunity to work directly with corporate partners, solving real world challenges. This is the first program in Taiwan in which corporates offer “reverse pitches” — calling on the entrepreneurial energy of startups to help them innovate new solutions to pressing problems and persistent bottlenecks.

Global Hack 2020 focuses on four major technology domains:
– MedTech / HealthTech
– AI / 5G / IoT / Cloud Computing
– Fintech
– Cybersecurity

Winning teams from Taiwan will have the opportunity to travel abroad for further development and training, as well as residency opportunities in leading incubators, including MassChallenge Israel, located in Jerusalem, and New Lab, located in Brooklyn, New York.

Winning teams from abroad are offered free co-working space at Startup Terrace in Taiwan, in addition to all the opportunities that being part of Taiwan’s vibrant startup ecosystem provide.
